Descripción: Multinational company (end client) is looking a SAP FICO Architect (Madrid)
Responsible for providing in depth content expertise and knowledge on how to manage in SAP Finance & Controlling processes for retail operations and distribution centers.
Important not to have a silo approach and look beyond the line of expertise for links between business processes and integrate with other IT areas.
Takes a pro-active role in search for areas of process improvement and ensures best practices solutions for the internal customers in the Finance business teams. Interacts with Business,
Service Delivery and Service Providers in definition and design of IT processes for Finance.
Provides input to the Solution Architects for all the financial and controlling areas and processes in the ERP area to ensure input in decision-making process when needed. Therefore, it is critical to deliver high level assessments in a short period of time to ensure timely strategic decisions. Pro-active involvement in the SAP Competence Center, improvement in processes and service delivery.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Design and configure FI-CO processes according to the business requirement
Translate business requirements into functional specs for internal developers or service providers
Support all projects, enhancements, upgrades, migrations
Maintain up to date the solution documentation
Profile Needed:
5-8 years of SAP Finance experience required in international SAP implementation projects including global templates. Experience working with nearshore/offshore teams.
Experience working in International teams
Required knowledge in SAP for:
Finance Module (GL, AP, AR, TR, AA) with knowledge in Classic GL, New GL, and Document splitting. Additional knowledge in Central Finance, S4/HANA is a plus.
Treasury Management and Cash Management desirable.
Controlling (CCA, PCA, PA, PS, RE, OM, IM).
Excellent understanding of the financial processes and integration with logistics and commercial.
Experience in Retail companies is a plus.

SAP Retail knowledge
Required education: Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineer (Bachelor level).
Required industry / specialization knowledge / experience: Retail industry is preferred.
Required product knowledge / experience: 5-8 years of SAP Finance experience required in international SAP implementation projects including global templates.
Required managerial experience and level: leading small teams for 3-5 years.
Required knowledge of languages: English at professional level.
Required personality competencies: Capable to work in a team with different cultures and point of views. Used to work under a high pressure.
Collaborative with internal and external stakeholders.
Flexible to adapt to extremely changing environment driven by business needs.
Specific computer software skills: SAP FI/CO Microsoft Office advance user. Adaptable to new technologies.
