Descripción: In Melt Group we are looking for one of our client world leader in digital transformation with offices in more than 20 countries a MS SQL Server Administrator with more than 6 years of experiencie to be part of a team experiencied people and highly motivated to challenges. This position is based in Madrid.
Your role
•You will have a great opportunity to collaborate on a Norwegian project from our International Service Center located in Madrid.
•You will be responsible for OS/DB and applications support activities including maintenance, administration, and second line support.
•Attending training in Norway and weekly meetings with the customer and infrastructure teams.
Your profile
Main requirements
Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following technologies is a must:
•Knowledge of Windows server Administration.
•Knowledge of MS SQL Server : Database General Administration.
• English: High proficiency (strong verbal and written communication skills)
•Cloud / Azure
Desirable requirements
Knowledge in the following areas will be valuable:
•AD (Active Directory) and ADFS ( Active Directory Federation Services)
•Backup & Recovery Techniques
•HA Arquitectures (Cluster, AlwaysOn)
•Transact-Sql programming
•Performance Analysis
•DHCP.
•GPO – Group Policy Objects.
•DNS.
•Fileserver Resource Management (FSRM )
•TrendMicro, Antivirus Trend (Server)
•Strong customer service/focus skills.
•Good understanding of supporting a complex and distributed technical environment.
•Excellent people skills, ability to interact successfully with business, and other technology groups.
•Proven ability to deal with demanding client needs
•ITIL certification is a plus.
