: We are looking for a reservations agent to join the team at PGA Catalunya Resort.
Reporting to the Reservations & Revenue Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
? Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
? Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail using the Property Management System.
? Identify reservation needs and determine appropriate services and room types.
? Ensure revenue is maximized by up-selling guest rooms and recommending hotel and Golf, Rental and all Resort facilities.
? Explain guarantee, special rate, and group cancellation policies to group responsible.
? Answer questions about property facilities/services as golf, rooms and rentals.
? Enter rooming lists while ensuring accuracy, as required.
? Indicate special room reservation types (e.g., complimentary rooms, employee discounts, travel agent inspection rates, and wholesale reservations) by inputting the correct code and rate into the reservation system.
? Update reservations ensuring a flawless check in and check out process.
? Enquire and follow through all the holding requests.
? Follow all company and department policies and procedures.
? Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
? Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets; protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.
? Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
