Descripción: As a DevOps Engineer, you have experience in working in an agile environment and have already worked as a business & technical consultant with business partners. As a key driver on BASF´s path of digitalization, you support existing products and initiative as well as innovate additional digital solutions that supports BASF´s global businesses.
Role specific activities (what is expected of you as an employee)
– Closely working together with our internal business partner, collaborating teams, (offshore) partners and suppliers, will be part of your daily activities.
– DevOps engineer within a squad working on specific front-ends, administration tools and interfaces
– Contribute to ensuring a reliable global mail service, by (co)designing and maintaining specific applications, administration tools, automations & interfaces.
– Assist and consult in the setup, and improvements, of concepts for global and/or differentiated mail service solutions,
– Performing of quality assurance via unit and functional testing
– Support user acceptance testing
– Drive for sustainable solutions
– Leverages the use of standard functionalities to reduce non-standard development
– A team player spirit with an agile mindset, collaborating within & beyond team barriers, striving to add value for BASF.
– Experience and/or ability to work in a virtual multicultural team, spread across the globe
– Besides your mother tongue, you fluently speak and write in English. German is a plus.
– You hold a bachelor´s degree from an accredited college or university, or you have multiple years of professional experience in the IT-area.
– Minimum 3+ years experience in code development
