Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Researches, documents, and implements program requirements and specifications
• Writes, translates, and codes software programs and applications according to the specification as needed
• Runs and monitors performance tests on new and existing software for the purposes of correcting mistakes, isolating areas of improvement, and general debugging
• Cultivates and disseminates knowledge of development best practices
• Code reviews.
• Maintains guidelines and coding standard documentation
• Interacts regularly with managers and team members to field technical queries and questions

Required Skills and Experience:
• 4+ years (8+ years preferred) experience writing code using languages such as (and not limited to) C++, C#, VB.Net, Java, C
• Advanced understanding of RDBMS databases such SQL Server.
• Experience on multiple full release project life cycles.
• Advanced understanding of testing tools and unit test and integration test scripting, and testing methodologies
• Advanced experience using an Integrated Development Environment (e.g., Eclipse, Visual Studio) and development of tool add-ins.
• Strong understanding of basic Database Administration. Able to define quality and security standards.
