Our client, important multinational auto sector is looking for a Business Analyst for their offices located in Barcelona.
You will be bridging the gap between IT and the business so the team can deliver awesome digital solutions to our operations. Your job will be delivering crystal clear business requirements based on the needs you collect from all the stakeholders. This will enable development teams to integrate great new features into our own-built digital solutions running 24/7 around the globe and which they perfectly align with our internal and external customer expectations.
Responsibilities and Duties:
– Facilitate workshops, gather business requirements, map business processes, and document customer journeys as a part of needs gathering to support business product changes and improvements
– Analyze findings from needs gathering to author functional requirements that frame the business needs
– Create business use cases, need expressions, and change requests to support the corporate strategy to improve the functionality, performance, and reliability of our business products
– Develop clear and accurate requirements and work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business, business product managers, and IT team
– Define business test cases and support the execution of user acceptance testing process
Required Qualifications and Skills:
– Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
– Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task
– Strong attention to detail
– Strong analytical problem-solving skills are required, along with a high degree of flexibility and creativity
– Strong interpersonal skills with persuasive and assertive approach to getting the job done
– Innovative, demonstrating the ability to think outside the box to seek solutions for complex challenges
– Self-starter, motivated and self-sufficient with endless curiosity
– Passion for the business you support
– Works well meet deadlines
– Thorough understanding of computer systems and applications
Preferred Qualifications:
– Previous experience gathering business needs and requirements writing for business systems and web applications targeted for industrial environments
– Experience in requirements gathering and stakeholder management
– Basic understanding of UX design principles
– Fluent in French language a plus
