Our client, FMCG multinational company, is looking for a Tech Lead Data Engineer for their offices located in Barcelona.
Primary mission: As a Data Engineer, you will contribute to bring data analytics to production at scale in a multinational compàny. Taking part on data squads building data platforms or data products together with data science, data quality and business intelligence profiles.
Leadership skills: Strategic vision and, being able so see the big picture, capacity to explain, educate and motivate his/her peers and reports. We seek for accountable people, capable of taking decisions, convince and also taking responsibility on them. Establishing guides, processes and routines and promote them.
Seniority required about: High performance architecture for streaming and batch processing solutions. Data modeling and Data driven solutions architecture. Data Pipelines Development (Batch + Real Time pipelines) Data Operations (Exploring, Provisioning, Cleaning, Testing and ALM) Algorithms Development (Statistiscs and Machine Learning)
Technical stack: Languages (required): Scala, Python, SQL Languages (appreciated): Java, .NET and others Big Data Frameworks: Spark, Kafka, Kubernetes, Hive¡ Data Base: relational (SQL Server) and non-relational (MongoDB, ELK, Cassandra¡) Experience in Agile methodology As a bonus, knowledge in Machine Learning tools (Scikit-Learn, Pandas, Spark ML, MLflow¡)
Preferred Background: Development team leadership on production. Excels in any programming language and applying software development patterns. Demonstrable capability on designing complex software solutions and logic architecture. Soft skills and competencies: Fast adaptation to changing requirements and strong problem-solving skills. To work in a collaborative model, side by side with the business Fluency in English to work in a multi-cultural environment
