We´re seeking a Technical Team Lead to head up and help us build a new development team. You will be working on designing, building, and maintaining world class components and services that are used to address a variety of problems such as system integration, data pipelining, event handling, reporting and monitoring. If you have some years of experience as a Backend Developer and want to advance your leadership skills whilst remaining technical, then this is for you. Ideally, you are also into sports as much as we are!
The Risk team is responsible for product that prevents Fraud (duplicity checks, KYC, fraud prevention, automatic actions to prevent money loss, etc…) as well as being responsible for Payments (authorization, rejection and fulfilment of several payment methods).
As the Team Lead you will, among other things get your hands dirty with;
• Working with technical deliverables to ensure that the product is built from the ground up with high-quality.
• Being involved in all stages of the development cycle, from the initial idea to getting it live.
• Coaching and motivating your team while empowering them to take ownership of the final result will also be an important part of your daily work.
• Being the go-to person for all matters involving the team, representing the team in front of different audiences comes natural to you and you feel comfortable doing this.
• Ensuring, together with the Product Owner and the Lead Architect, that the decisions taken by your team are always well motivated and aligned with the vision the company has for the product.
Key Skills needed:
Essential
• Experience in leading and coaching teams
• Previous experience in the Sports betting industry
• Previous experience in building highly available distributed systems
• Substantial experience in a similar role
• Proven experience with PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Ansible, Linux
• Have working experience in Erlang/Elixir and/or Ruby
• Solid experience of performance monitoring and nurturing Developers careers

• Graphite (or InfuxDB, Prometheus)
• Docker
• Kubernetes
