Descripción: We are looking for a Technical Support Agent to join our Support Team. You will be the person our customers trust, they will rely on you to provide timely and accurate solutions to their technical and integration problems. You must be naturally a helper and a problem solver, you must enjoy assisting people with technical issues and be able to explain technical details in a simple way.

Key responsibilities:

– Taking ownership of customer installation or integration issues and guide them to its resolution
– Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve system and service issues
– Providing technical assistance, guidance, and customer service given project requirements directly to a customer or to an internal sales agent
– Performing investigation and analysis to solve problems and escalate issues to product management and development
– Standardizing solutions and pushing those to knowledge-base
– Building and improving tools and automating workflows necessary to improve technical support’s day-to-day work
– Developing and maintaining product documentation including troubleshooting steps, installation instructions, and release notes.
– Reviewing technical documentation

What we expect from you:

– Engineering Degree
– Highly proficient in English and Spanish.
– Excellent communication skills. Able to explain and communicate technical knowledge to a wide range of technologically proficiency levels (i.e. a system admin or a teacher who barely knows what a operating system is).
– Outgoing and friendly person, willing to help and ability to solve issues. Resolutive. Efficient. Patient.
– Technological background and skills/willingness to try/learn new things.
– Comfortable with Windows and Mac operating systems.
– Comfortable with code or programming without the need of being an expert (Javascript, Java, .NET, PHP, Ruby).
– Familiar with web environments: LMS (Moodle, Canvas, etc.), CMS (Drupal, WordPress, etc.), HTML editor (CKeditor, TinyMCE, etc.), servers (Apache, Tomcat), databases, Node.js.
It would be nice if you are familiar with Zendesk or any other ticketing system, but not mandatory
