Be a key driver on BASF´s path to digitalisation by supporting existing products and initiatives as well as innovate additional digital solutions that supports BASF´s global businesses.
For our unit GDD/GC – Warehouse Management DevOps. We are looking for a Warehouse Management Technical Consultant, ideally with good knowledge of SAP EWM and interested in learning the many facets surrounding WM.
• Enable and support internal business partners (IBP´s) to achieve BASF business goals through providing best-in-class IT and digitalization solutions.
• Drive the technical implementation of IT and digitalization solutions for BASF in engineering, maintenance and operations
• Continuously improves methodology, tools, guidelines and techniques for business requirement engineering
Role specific activities ( What is expected of you as an employee)
• Works in a DevOps environment, keeping strong communication with the team.
• Defines the solution and technical design based on business requirements.
• Analyzes, models, consults and optimizes business process solutions.
• Collaborates with different business partners, e.g. Internal business partners, process architecture and IS strategy & enterprise architecture.
• Contributes to project planning, cost estimations and supports UAT testing, training and service transition to operations/support organization for projects and change requests.
• Coordinates activities which are necessary for the technical implementation throughout all project phases.
• Ensure the readiness and preparation of the organization to provide ongoing support and optimizations for implemented solutions in a sustainable way throughout all life cycle phases.
Required (Education, Additional Qualifications and experience)
• Technical skills in EWM / WM / MM.
• SAP ECC 6.0.
• Interfaces to Manufacturing, Sales & Distribution and Transportation Management.
• Logistic and / or Supply Chain experience.
• Fluent in English (writing & tongue).
• Strong Communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
