Descripción: As a DevOps Engineer, you have experience in working in an agile environment and have already worked as a business & technical consultant with business partners. As a key driver on BASF´s path of digitalization, you support existing products and initiative as well as innovate additional digital solutions that supports BASF´s global businesses.
Role specific activities: (what is expected of you as an employee)
– Service Owner for Data Governance Center (DGC)
– Development, optimization, operation and support of the IT landscape of the DGC
– Monitoring of Services and Costs
– Advising and supporting customers with questions about data interfaces and technical processes in DGC
– Planning, preparation and execution of tests in DGC and technical QA
– Working in an agile global DevOps environment
– Communication, error handling and updating with the software provider
Required (Education, Additional Qualifications and experience)
– Studies in Business Informatics, Computer Science (Diploma/ Bachelor/ Master) with minimum 5+ years of professional experience or
– IT specialist for application development or comparable training with minimum 5+ years of professional experience
– Good general IT knowledge
– analytic thinking skills
– Minimum 2+ years´ experience Cloud and Security Experience (e.g. Socks, Firewalls)
– Minimum 2+ years´ experience Collibra and Safyr Knowhow
– Minimum 2+ years´ experience Authentification, Certification, SingleSignOn knowledge
– Minimum 2+ years´ experience APIs (Interfaces to different databases)
– Minimum 3+ years´ experience Linux & Microsoft Server Know-How
– Team player with strong interpersonal, written and verbal English communication skills.
