• Lead and manage a team of engineers supporting the senior Leadership.
• Participate in the OOH on-call rota to support the production platforms managed by the Automation team.
• Participate to refinement sessions to translate the company needs into software solutions that suit those needs.
• Lead and or delegate the conversations with Product, Architecture and Infrastructure teams to ensure the alignment of the solutions with the company standards.
• Set technical direction and delegate senior team members to make the best technical decisions in line with Leadership and Business expectations.
• Develop and build the solutions with the team. Create barebones, patterns and guides that will help the rest of the team in following the best practices and building high quality software.
• Participate with the team in the handover phase to the operational teams, ensuring their full autonomy for using and operating the built solutions. The handover should include comprehensive documentation, monitoring and alerting assets, training, Standard Operation Procedures, L3 support procedures enablement, etc.

• At least 4 years of experience working as a DevOps/Platform Engineer in Cloud Native environments, involving Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, Kubernetes and private and public cloud providers.
• At least 10 years of experience working with Linux systems and Infrastructure concepts (servers, storage, networking, monitoring, automation…).
• At least 2 years´ experience in leading a technical team.
• Experience working with critical systems that require high availability levels and support high loads. Experience with Linux systems (RHEL/CentOS, Ubuntu/Debian) in a large-scale operations, distributed Linux production set-up.
• Proficient in Docker usage and writing custom Dockerfiles
• Experience in multi-cluster Kubernetes deployment and administration (CKAD certification is a plus).
• Proficient in using Terraform to apply Infrastructure as Code.
• Proficient in using automated configuration management systems: Ansible, Puppet
• Experience with Python and scripting. Demonstrable experience in GoLang and other languages such as Java or Ruby is a great plus.
