SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced Electronical / Telecom Engineer highly specialized in the domain of RFID (radio frequency identification device) and connected solutions (IOT).
Part of the Europe Technical Centre, you will support internal customers from product management to field service teams in EMEA countries.
JOB DUTIES
Innovation is at our core, you will play an integral role in helping us testing, documenting, tuning, and maintaining intelligent solutions for our customer on the retail market.
We offer software, hardware, labels, tags and connected cloud-based solutions. You will help to design proof of concept solutions requested by our global product management team.
Fully understand RFID technology and RFID standards to be able to create solutions using RFID tags and RFID readers combined with other electronics.
You will deliver training to field service technicians or sub-contractors about our RFID and connectivity solutions. For this, you will develop process flows, work instructions or standard operating procedures for radio frequency identification device (RFID) systems.
You will conduct testing of hardware including 3rd party partner solutions to determine relative performance. Test tags or labels to ensure readability.
It is required to be constantly updated on new market RFID solutions.
EDUCATION
Degree in related Engineering field (Electronical / Telecom) applied to RFID and connected solutions.
EXPERIENCE
At least 3-5 years of experience in the RFID industry and connected solution (IoT).
Proven working experience with medium to large projects in the technology field (computer science, engineering).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES (KSA´s):
Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change with competing demands.
Ability to work independently and to perform well under pressure.
Excellent client facing and internal communication skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
