Headquartered in Europe, Omada is a fast-growing cybersecurity software company with locations globally. We are looking for a skilled Software Engineering Manager to join the Leadership team in Engineering department. You will play a key role in building and growing teams and software engineers in the development center in Alicante, Spain. In your role, you will work closely with other leaders from our development centers in Denmark, Poland, and Spain.
The Software Engineering Manager role covers people management for Developers, Testers and Scrum Masters. As an Engineering Manager, you are responsible for motivating and engaging your teams, and you are also a driving force in creating an inspiring environment with an open communication culture.
Get challenged in your role as Software Engineering Manager:
-You will have responsibility for the growth and performance of several co- or cross-located teams in the Engineering department.
-You will have people management responsibility for the engineers in the teams, coaching them to support the growth and development of their careers within Omada.
-Attract and retain diverse talent and grow a team of highly skilled engineers.
-You will play a key role in recruitment and onboarding activities.
-You will work with other managers to improve the management and leadership practices of the organization.
-Develop a learning mentality and assist the teams in succeeding.
-Support Agile Methodologies and Continuous Improvement.
-You will play a vital role in the growth of the development center in Alicante.
You have:
-Experience with people management from a previous position.
-At least 10 years working in IT, Software and Cloud Development.
-Experience in product development and the agile development life cycle.
-Higher IT education, such as graduate or master.
-Knowledge of how to lead by fostering an inclusive and agile engineering culture in newly formed and existing teams.
-Strong leadership skills.
-Experience driving complex strategic projects.
