We are a fast-growing technology company with an international customer base, specialised in high-performance data engineering. We are looking for a Software Engineer with strong focus on Quality Assurance, for our software engineering team in Malaga/Spain.
Your role:
• Design, document, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases
• Ensure full life-cycle testing, including functional, integration, regression, performance and load tests
• Perform functional, integration, system, user acceptance and non-functional testing
• Develop test strategies and approaches for the effective use of automated test tools
Develop test automation frameworks and tools that will help teams increase their delivery speed and quality
– Create and manage automated functional and non-functional testing scripts, execute and maintain automated test scripts, assuring continuous testing process
– Suggest improvements to increase efficiency and quality of software development and QA process
– Log defects and recreate them as needed, track defects through to resolution
– Report test results and defects in a clear, structured and user oriented manner

What we are looking for:
– Understanding of software development methodologies
– Experience in Software Testing and software development
– Very good knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
– Very good understanding of git version control and processes
– Experience with test driven development
– Experience with continuous integration toolset and processes
– Proficient knowledge of relational SQL databases
– Ability to read, write and test complex SQL scripts and stored procedures and perform detailed data analysis as required
– Experience with one or more of the following: Python, JavaScript, NodeJs, Postman, Selenium, Cypress or other test automation tools
– Troubleshooter and methodical mentality
– Proactive attitude and ability to organize, coordinate and prioritize day to day workload
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Autonomy to work effectively with minimal supervision, ability to adapt to fast paced environment
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and propose practical solutions
– Ability to organize, coordinate and prioritize day to day workload in an efficient and structured manner
– Attention to detail and precision
– Excellent English (correct and fluent spoken and written)
