Descripción: The SAM officer will be part of the Madrid IT Platform. Located in Madrid- Spain
They will report to the SAM leader for Europe within the Efficiency and Performance Department.
The Software Asset Management team will manage the SW licensing in both an efficient and compliant way. The team will support the IT Managers (mainly the CTO of the Madrid Platform) for SW optimization and SW reporting and will liaise with the SAM Global team in Paris for inventory exercises, internal and external audits, software compliance…
The Role Explained:
The position comprises the following tasks:
• Prepare, create, present, follow, monitor, analyse, and report CIB IT licenses figures for his/her scope, – in close collaboration with the Global SAM team.
• Contribute to any vendors inventories/audit requests.
• Support the IT managers for software optimization.
• Contribute to the software deployment strategies.
• Prepare SW business cases.
• Manages the provision of licenses and maintenance contracts liaising with SW vendors within the European scope.
• Invoice monitoring.
The ideal candidate has a strong background on the following points:
• Expertise in Software Asset Management with proven knowledge of major SW-vendor metrics (Microsoft, IBM, VMWare, Oracle…)
• Fluent in English, good verbal communication skills.
• Good understanding of IT framework, basic infrastructure and IT services.
• MS Excel > Advanced Level ( Pivot Tables, Functions and Formulas )
Desirable skills / Systems
• Good level of French
