Descripción: We are looking for an SAP Master Data Management Consultant keen to join our global client in Barcelona for a long-term opportunity.
THE ROLE:
• Ensure SOX compliance and control in master data and processes;
• Enter and perform maintenance in SAP/MDG of Global Material Master Data ensuring consistency and accuracy of the data entered;
• Handle Tickets and Change Requests;
• Documentation update;
• First level support and training for MDG users;
• Identify opportunities to improve and optimize processes;
• Coordinate with IT department the implementation of new configurations in MDG functionalities and in the workflow tool;
• Define and report performance/technical issues, solve them if possible and follow up on problem solving.
• Data Operations: mass uploads, data migration, supporting PIR maintenance.
• Coordinating on data transfer to external production plant.
• Coordinating several innovation projects (product release) from Master Data site.
• Data analysis and extracts (MMD, VMD, PIR, transactional data – PO/Invoice/GR).
• iDoc monitoring and resolving errors (data alignment MDG-SAP ECC).
• Process improvements for material maintenance (OC Pessione / Italy).
• UAT for Enhancement Requests.
• Defining solutions for system improvement.
• Analysing and improving approval matrix.
• Resolving maintenance tickets for GDS (Global Data Services) – master data.
• Resolving master data related escalations.
• Manage a team of 2 junior members.
• Tools: SAP ECC, Devex, MDG-M/C/S/PLM/PH, Sunrise, Excel.
YOUR PROFILE:
• Minimum 4 years of experience working in a similar position – Master Data Management area
• Experience with SAP MM is mandatory
• General business knowledge (i.e. supply chain, commercial, finance)
• People management
• Good knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
• Preferably strong IT Background
• Fluency in English and Spanish is a strong plus.
• Problem solving, root cause analysis
• Good knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
• IT skills:
o o Master Data Governance
o o Vendors or purchasing
o o P2P project implementations, P2P processes, vendor master data
o o Ticketing solutions;
