Our technology stack is .NET Core and .NET Framework using C#. Ruby on Rails on our legacy world, Client-Side JavaScript web frameworks – React.js, Redux. AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway, S3, MongoDb (To name but a few).
The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for building, enhancing and maintaining products and/or systems to enable Sage´s business plans and long-term objectives using the identified architecture. The Senior Software Engineer will assume ownership in the design, develop and delivery of high-quality products and/or systems and services that exceed customers´ or business partners´ expectations and will proactively share their own knowledge for specific technical solutions and business processes in their area of responsibility.
They are also responsible for system design, team estimation and building the capabilities of less experienced developers through coaching and mentoring.

Responsabilidades principales
– Ability to interpret and/or gather user requirements and translate these into technical specifications and/or code
– Proficient with several relevant programming languages and frameworks
– Performs maintenance, support and enhancements of existing systems.
– Influences and drives team adherence to development processes and creation/maintenances of technical documentations and guides
– Partakes and drives participation in Agile processes
– Analyses, architects and develops new products/features in a maintainable high quality way.
– Actively writes codes, conducts code reviews, and unit testing
– Coaches and mentors other developers
– Contributes to the wider team development practices to aid continual improvement across the field.
– Mentoring and coaching to junior members of the development team.
