Descripción: In Capgemini, we looking for the profile ´Senior Support Administration (BMC Control-M & BachOps)´ for Infrastructure area
Professional skills and experience in team management and leadership of similar projects with required technology
Responsibilities:
Control-M administration, Server administration and Application administration on daily basis.
Managing Control-M resources, NDP.
Installation/migration and upgrade of Control-M Enterprise Manager, Control-M Servers and Control-M Agents on Distributed Platform
User administration on Control M (User creation and assigning permissions according to the user role) and LDAP authentication
Providing production support to the Control M environment which includes bouncing of the control M database and server.
Responsible for capacity planning, server consolidation, and performance optimization of systems, databases, networks, and applications
Implement CONTROL-M cluster failover
Perform Disaster Recovery for Control-M
Perform Control M Database Management/Administrator functions to include, building new Sybase/postgres/oracle Database regions, migration of Control M application database sub systems.
Should be able to handle special schedules during Maintenance windows and should be able to assist in Product Upgrades
Perform root cause analysis on server, database, and Control-M software, taking care of performance issues and fine tuning the Control M subsystems as required.
Implement Remote Host (Agent less job execution)
Create UNIX scripts and Windows batch/Power shell scripts to automate manual tasks.
Integrate Control-M alerts with ticketing tool to generate automatic incidents
Able to take Control-M Database Hot/Cold Backup and Restore
Email configuration in Control-M to generate automatic emails from Control-M Jobs
Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills with proven ability to assess impacts of decisions or changes and quickly comprehends implications of actions.
Requirements:
Good Knowledge on Control M Administration and Scheduling
Experience in creating Job Templates and jobs/tasks
Expertise in creating Batch Reports using Control-m reporting tools.
Creating alerts on jobs based on business requirement.
Expertise in designing batch jobs, defining SLAs, alerting as per the priority.
Expertise on Strategic Planning & implementation, Customer Interaction
Experience in Writing UNIX scripts and windows scripts.
Adverse Knowledge of CONTROL M Applications with Third party tools
Support hrs: 8:00 – 5:00 pm CET – Availability On call support after business hrs
Required Languages Support: Spanish and English (fluent-high is needed,spoken and written)
