Role:
We are looking for a Backend software developer to join our growing team. You will define and develop server-side logic, implement the business logic, define and maintain the structure of our product data sources together with our team, ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end as well as security and reliability of the service. Collaborate with the team to shape and define API contracts. Furthermore the role will contribute to software architectures for a highly distributed system and resource optimization strategies.
Skills:
– Strong Java or/and Nodejs coding skills, and willingness to learn other languages/ technologies.
– Senior experience working on backend software engineering, with excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
– Experience working on agile based teams.
– Very good understanding of algorithms, data structures, memory management, concurrency, and network programming.
– Experience with Network Programming, Event Based parallel/distributed programming, publish/subscribe pattern.
– Track record of delivering high quality codein a fast-paced environment.
– Fluent in English
As they are creating from scratch a new stellar tech team based in Barcelona, the architecture is yet to be defined. Most probably they will implement: Java, springboot, SQL and NoSQL databases, Cloud, docker, kubernetes, angular/react, Scrum, clean code, best practices¡
Responsabilities:
Product Development:
Create and maintain a scalable deployment solution for a multi-application ecosystem.
Design and implement data models/schemas in the data access layer.
Implement new features and strategies to improve capabilities.
Collaboration in project teams:
Collaborate with both internal and external UI/backend engineers to shape and define API contracts.
Contribute to software architectures for a highly distributed system and resource optimization strategies.
Quality:
Design and develop approaches to measure, evaluate and improve quality in the platform end-to-end.
Develop and maintain automated build and continuous integration systems.
Design and implement unit testable code that is highly maintainable.
