Descripción: Become a key player in the roadmap development of one of the most important social performance tools in the industry. You will work closely with the Design & IT department to take wireframes and mockups from conception to implementation, recommending and implementing solutions that influence and improve the design of products that provide a delightful user experience along with high performance, security, quality, and stability.
As we work every day with APIs you also will be able to analyze them and work directly with the IT team to integrate new functionalities.
Key Responsibilities:
Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
Test verification for products (including environment management, functional and regression testing), identifying deficiencies.
Perform manual testing for the Web UI and Data collected from the APIs.
Log defects, report and track to closure, working with development teams to establish defect validity, cause and retesting as required.
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans, test cases and bug reports.
Prepare and present reports and metrics to management.
Support the product team to create technical specifications to develop new improvements for the platform.
Required Experience/Skills:
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, testing tools and processes.
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
2+ years of proven work experience in software quality assurance, using different testing techniques such as UI Testing, Automated Testing, Test Driven Development Strategies, etc.
Experience on API / web services (REST), web applications and mobile/emulators testing.
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Fluent verbal and written English language skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and willingness to jump in and do what it takes to deliver on commitments will make you a successful part of the product development organization.
Nice to Have:
BS degree or equivalent in computer science, electrical engineering or related field and/or relevant industry certifications.
Basic knowledge of JavaScript, PHP, JSON, HTML5, MySQL.
Experience in automation testing.
Experience in Git.
