They are seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead the development of digital products inside the eCommerce Team for one of our clients in the retail industry business.

What profile are we looking for?
University degree. Technology-based training, preferably in Computer Engineering.
Technical knowledge: (it´s needed to help designing and defining technical requirements, not to code)
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position, managing the development of digital products in e-Commerce.
Java, Scrum (with verifiable experience).
English intermediate
With good communication skills, teamwork and leadership skills of multiple location teams.
– Desirable (not mandatory):
Experience in Banking and online payments
Microservices
Design and construction of APIs (Rest)
Knowledge in databases (SQL, NoSql it´s a plus)
Knowledge of Monitoring and traceability tools
Experience with public clouds

Functions and responsibilities?
Be The Owner of the product. Each PO is the last responsible for their products, in charge of the strategy and roadmap, with the last word on it.
Able to understand the needs of Business stakeholders and work closely with them and the engineer´s architect during the initial creation of the scope.
Be the voice of the client and understand the needs that drive the product, the functionality and scope, being able to create different phases, starting with an MVP.
Be an expert for trends in technologies and products
Make decisions and be qualified to make them: balance a mix of strategic and operational decisions
Work closely with team leads to help define goals and provide insight into the product vision
Build and prioritize the backlog of the team based on the user´s needs, market evolution and the interests of the company.
Keep in touch with the different areas to know and understand their needs and problems, keeping them informed of the direction in which the product will be developed.
Present the result of the work of the team to the rest of the organization, communicating the impact of their deliveries, the evolution of their main metrics and the key learnings of the research with users.
Search for new opportunities inside the account, based on the knowledge of the different products running at the company.
What we offer?
Salary range of 45,000 – 48,000K depending on your experience, time flexibility and professional career
