In AKKA Technologies, we are looking for a Senior Network Engineer with strong technical backgrounds and experience in supporting large Network environment and managing global projects.
Major Responsibilities (includes but not restricted to)
• Act as a dedicated Network SME and point of contact on given projects.
• Liaise and Collaborate with the Network Team in Bucharest.
• Suggest and Promote continuous improvements to the Global Network Infrastructure.
• Design, Maintain and Document Network Architecture and Processes keeping everything up to date.
• Organise, lead and manage project resources in line with deliverables.
• Ensure that Network Services run under SLA and promptly resolve any incidents.
• Engage in technical discussions with technical and non-technical audiences including executives, managers, engineers, and end-users.
• Promote collaboration with peers in different realms (Wintel/DC/Voice/IBS)
Skills & Experience Requirements
• Experience in supporting Network environment in a large-scale company.
• Experience in managing global projects.
• Excellent knowledge and experience of Telecom infrastructure (LAN, MAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN) Network protocols and management, VOIP technologies and infrastructure and associated QoS mechanism.
• Experience with various network technologies like firewall, load balancer, router, switch, WIFI, Remote Access Services, intrusion detection /prevention, Datacenter network and security technologies like encryption, Virtual Private Network, authentication.
• Ability to demonstrate advanced level troubleshooting skillsets.
• Experience in SD-WAN and Cloud Based Network Technologies (Azure/O365/AWS) would be preferable.
• A Forward Thinking, Motivated and Collaborative outlook is essential.
