Descripción: We are looking for a junior engineer in Electrical, Telecommunications or Electronics to be based in Barcelona (Spain). Should possess some knowledge in telecommunications and transmission technologies and have a passion to learn about new ones in telecommunication testing, equipment and its configuration.
This position involves the following major responsibilities:
1.. Find new Business channels
2.. Execute Marketing activities
3.. Execute Sales activities
Specific Duties
============
– Identifying new channels and clients
– Proactively develop sales opportunities
– Providing assistance and post-sale follow up to customerst
– Paper-work associated to sales (quotations, deliveries, invoices, etc)
– Dealing with international and multilingual phone calls and emails
– Maintenance of the CRM customer database
– Delivery time control of sold products
– Attending trade-shows in order to identify potential business opportunities
Competence
==========
– University degree in Electrical, Telecommunications or Electronics Engineering
– Proficiency in English is a must, and at least fluent in German or French
– Willingness to travel across Europe 25% of the time
– Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners
– Holds a European citizenship
– Knowledge of communication protocols such as IEC 61850, PTP/NTP, TCP/IP is welcome
