Responsibilities:
. You implement User Stories by writing high quality Java software.
. You review and help improve code submitted as Merge Requests
. You contribute to the architecture and technical design of our solutions.
. You participate in the deployment of the software, all the way to production.
. You ensure the software quality goes up, based on transparent metrics.
. You are an active member of a SCRUM team, taking part in its rituals.
. You are a technical leader for Features delivery assisting and leading more junior developers.
Requirements:
. Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or information technology
. 5+ years’ experience in software development with Java
. Knowledge and experience in Spring Boot / Tomcat
. Ability to use Linux efficiently (shell, networking, package managers)
. Proficiency in Git usage
. Hands-on experience with Docker, experience in Ansible / puppet
. Experience in Agile, DevOps and continuous integration
. Fluency in English and French languages
. Experience in server-side development (stateless, HA, RESTful APIs)
. Knowledge of JBoss (our legacy that we want to replace by this new service)
. Proficiency in other programming languages (C++, Python, Go)
