SUMMARY OF ROLE

Reporting to the CIO, the IT Strategy and Vendor Manager provides the corporate technological vision and direction to meet and support the company´s strategic and operational goals. Individuals in this position must understand the latest concepts in Technology at a broad level. Will be also responsible for developing and keeping up-to-date corporate long-term IT strategy and plans including applications, vendors, policies, procedures and standards, with a focus on integrating technology into company operations to increase effectiveness and efficiency.

The IT Strategy and Vendor Manager is also responsible to perform combination of contract, performance or relationship management with IT vendors. These vendors could be delivering IT products (hardware or software) or IT services (consulting, application development and so on). The IT Strategy and Vendor Manager acts as a mediator for internal conflicts regarding budgets, projects, and other issues related to IT vendor management. This position requires the individual to act as a business agent for an IS organisation to negotiate pricing and to determine contract terms and conditions

Finally, the IT Strategy and Vendor Manager will be responsible to drive and ensure IT organisation transformation, the innovation in IT in connection with business, and to design / prepare IT communication materials aimed to either IT, business or CxO board and governance committees

REQUIREMENT

– Minimum 5 years´ experience in It strategy Roles
– Minimum 10 years´ experience in progressively roles with IT
– Minimum 3 years´ experience in vendor management,
– In-depth knowledge and understanding of information risk concepts and principles
– Minimum 5 years´ experience contributing to a range of midsize-to-large initiatives with above-average levels of complexity and business critically.
– Experience in supporting change, including collaboration with management stakeholders.
– Proven experience (internal and external) supporting change at the senior and executive management level.
