Multinational company (retail sector) is looking an Operations and IT Manager (Madrid).
As the IT Operation Specialist for Iberia you are responsible for ensuring a smooth and effective running of the IT department´s operations and delivering benefits to the business side. Y
Responsibilities:
Management and continuous improvement of day-to-day company operations
Support and train Retail Stores on retail operational system guaranteeing that this is use in an efficiency manner and according to internal controls guidelines (Y2/Cegid)
Traffic counters accuracy and interface in coordination with external company (Dilax)
Infrastructure and system maintenance (SAP, Hyperion, Y2/Cegid and U2)
Training head office employees to use the different systems in an accurate and efficient manner, support automating reporting (SAP, Hyperion, Y2/Cegid and U2)
Following Global guidelines and internal controls regarding security and accessibility, coordinate local rights of systems
Responsible and control of company hardware
Focal tickets and set-up of hardware, software and email accounts for new employees and exits
Overall IT maintenance including head office and store network
Manage IT suppliers, outsourced contracts and services in a cost-effective and efficient manner, within agreed budgets
Developing IT and systems as a partner to the business rather than as a pure support function
Manage the Iberia delivery of IT initiatives group IT projects following global IT strategy f.
Help develop and implement on-going local initiatives and projects (Quinyx implementation etc).
Analyze discrepancies between Data Systems
Knowledge requirements / past experience:
Minimum 5 years IT Operations experience
Project Management experience
Knowledge from E-commerce, wholesale/retail systems is an advantage (particularly SAP, U2, Y2/Cegid)
Experience in a multi-site consumer business, preferably fashion retail, and of retail and/or wholesale systems
Experience of warehousing and distribution processes and systems
Previous experience of taking ownership of and guiding the IT operations of a business, including budget responsibility
Understanding of the area of wider IT services, such as communications, networks, PCI etc
You must have strong IT and business competence with an enterprise architecture perspective
