The Global Network and Infrastructures Manager must create value for ensuring:

Infrastructures: Developing, maintaining and Infrastructures strategy (what services should be hosted in the cloud, in a Data Centre or in local servers), implement the roadmap agreed, ensure best possible service (working with local IT Teams and external vendors) and improve the local infrastructures landscape (best practices in terms of hardware, OS, Data rooms models…) planning upgrades, business needs in terms of hosting for new applications and following the security standards defined for the company

Network: Define best practices implementing Network improvements and leading new Network deployments on new sites (together with the vendor and local IT Teams). This role should also provide alternatives and guidance to the whole organization to ensure connectivity (in and out of the office) and manage the outsourcer in charge of the global Network.

Security: Assess which is the security reality of the group and define a Strategy and roadmap based on the assessment and the real needs of company.

Develop Security policies and procedures and implement the best possible solutions for each of the areas detected during the assessment phase. That means knowing very well which are the options that the market offers us and the implications for the business. In that sense, the Security Manager will lead these implementations and coordinate the external vendors when required (together with the IT Team).

Lead the service, which implies running periodic Security audits to check the group status and possible new threats or legal needs, monitor the main solutions applied to adjust them, take care of Data protection and incidences, be aware of new legal requirements (as the GDPR or any other law that could appear) and continuously communicate the employees to explain the importance and criticality of the topic.

What you´ll need to succeed

– Bachelors´ degree in IT and/or Business education
– Multiple years (min. 6-8 years) of experience designing and managing Networks and Infrastructures is needed
– Extensive Infrastructures knowledge and large previous experience is a must
– Communications and or Infrastructures Master or advanced education would be an advantage
– MS databases and OS certifications as our technological environment is MS oriented
– PMO Methodologies (PMO, Prince 2 ad SCRUM)
– Good knowledge of the Network and communication achitecture is needed
– Good experience in defining best practices according to different geographical realities (big/small sites, different continents¡)
– Experience in multicultural environment and matrix organisation
– Fluent level of english.
