Your new companyInternational company dedicated to the digitisation (apps, maps, web, e-commerce, etc) of tourism and mountain sports and Ski, is looking for an IT project Manager (SaaS) to join the team. They have presence in Barcelona, the United States, Switzerland and Austria. They have market-leading application helping users in the sector to develop digital products and services to improve outdoor activities, especially in snow and mountain environments through social platforms for athletes, outdoor lovers, skiers and mountaineers and also through digital solutions for tourism resorts and destinations.
Your new position
● Develop and execute project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.● Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.● Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or roadblocks, and implement corrective actions to ensure timely project delivery. ● Coordinate and communicate project status updates, milestones, and dependencies to all relevant stakeholders.● Foster a collaborative work environment and effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.● Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, ensuring alignment and effective utilisation of resources.● Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather inputs, resolve conflicts, and manage dependencies.● Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.● Identify and address any performance or usability issues, ensuring a seamless and optimised online shopping experience for customers.● Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations.● Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and share lessons learned for future projects.
Skills and Qualifications
● Bachelor´s degree in business, marketing, computer science, or a related field (Master´s degree preferred).● Proven experience as a project manager, specifically in the online commerce or e-commerce domain.● Strong understanding of online commerce platforms, technologies, and best practices.● Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.● Proficiency in project management tools and software.● Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities● Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.● Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.● Proficiency in writing and having a conversation in English
