Requirements:
– Profound working knowledge in Python
– Experience in the development of webservices
– Experience with databases and ORMs (we use sqlalchemy)
– Proficiency in Git
– At least basic knowledge of Docker
– Strong communication skills and willingness to work with the rest of the team to ensure stable and reliable operation of the system
– Full working proficiency in English
Nice to have:
– Experience in message-based systems
– Experience with GitLab CI, Jenkins or any other automated CI solution
– Experience in automated testing of REST APIs
– Experience in automated security testing of web servers
– Experience with working with a large cloud provider, preferably AWS
– Knowledge about container orchestration software, e.g. docker-compose, kubernetes
– At least basic knowledge in Java and the willingness to learn other programming languages
– Knowledge of geo processing tools, e.g, PostGIS, gdal, ogr
– Proficiency in German
