About the Role
Area2.ai is seeking a skilled Frontend Engineer to take a leading role in developing intuitive, engaging user-facing applications and data collection frameworks tied to our A2 platform. This role involves creating robust SDKs and front-end systems, including developing browser plugins for data capture and desktop applications for Mac and Windows, as well as mobile applications for iOS and Android. As a key member of our engineering team, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring seamless platform integration and performance across various environments, transforming user interactions with our pioneering neuroconnective AI technologies.
Responsibilities
Design and Develop
• Architect and develop front-end applications/SDKs for data collection and A2-powered interactions.
• Lead the creation of user interfaces that effectively integrate neuroadaptive features, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
• Oversee the development lifecycle for multiple platforms, ensuring robust performance and adherence to the highest security standards.
Collaborate and Implement
• Collaborate cross-functionally to define, design, and ship new A2 platform features.
Manage and Maintain
• Oversee the development lifecycle for multiple platforms, ensuring robust performance and adherence to the highest security standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SDK integration, data collection, and app distribution processes.
Stay Updated and Improve
• Stay up to date on industry trends in human-machine interaction interfaces.
• Apply knowledge to continuous improvements of the A2’s application suite.
Desirable Skills
• Knowledge of backend infrastructure development for A2 platform, emphasizing security, scalability, and performance.
• Integration and maintenance of A2 SDK into mobile apps, ensuring seamless data collection.
• Development of browser plugins and desktop applications, oriented to human-device interaction data capture.
• Experience with background services and HDI tracking systems.
• Management of code deployment, from development to operational support.
• App store updates, ensuring compliance with latest guidelines and best practices.
• Overseeing security measures within the SDK and backend, including encryption and authentication.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience with front-end programming languages and frameworks.
• Understanding of cross-platform SDK development.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines.
• Expertise in security best practices, including OAuth, API security, and data encryption.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
