* Have a solid understanding of the OSI model, TCP/IP, local area networking and systems concepts including standards, typologies, protocols, and equipment.
* Solid experience with SIEM management.
* Solid understanding of Nexpose and/or Nessus.
* Solid understanding of Firewalls (PaloAlto, Cisco ASA).
* Understanding of Configuration of Windows and Linux host-based security as well as cloud-based security systems and Networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).
* Ability to work autonomously and team player.
* Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-stress situations.
* Ability to communicate network security issues to peers and management.
