The Head of Digital Marketing Europe is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of a comprehensive digital programme driving customer acquisition and engagement across both candidate and client audiences. Aligning closely with the business objectives of 13 markets across Europe, the role is tasked with building and maintaining an efficient digital marketing programme with maximum impact across each of these markets.

This role oversees a team of 15 with direct line management of 5, spanning across paid and owned media, and web development. This role sits on the business´ global digital leadership team that supports delivery of the future direction for digital within the business, as well as the European Marketing Leadership team.

The Head of Digital is a data-driven, delivery-focused team leader with a track record in digital programme execution. The role requires strong collaboration and the ability to balance local, regional, and global priorities to deliver measurable impact.

Primary responsibilities:

Overall responsibility for regional execution of the global digital strategy including:
• Media buying and day-to-day management of media budgets, including optimization for maximum return.
• Regional representation as part of Global digital strategy development.
• Channel performance reporting.
• Management and execution of PPC and SEO strategy using agency resource.
• Maximize digital engagement via website content and customer journeys in close collaboration with regional content and CRM functions.
• Regional delivery of digital marketing campaigns and landing page content.
• Overall responsibility for regional testing and execution of new digital features.
• Line management of direct reports.
• Represent European digital programme towards senior business leaders.
• Member of Global Digital Leadership team.
• Member of European Marketing Leadership team

Key skills and competencies:
• Proven track record in delivery of successful digital strategy.
• Displays knowledge understanding of digital platforms and how they are best used in both B2B and B2C marketing.
• Excellent project management capabilities to stay on top of detail, deliverables and anticipate and propose solutions to potential roadblocks to keep activities on track.
• Excellent understanding of digital analytics.
• Strong understanding of and successful implementation in paid, earned, and owned media strategies.
• Strong experience conducting user experience testing and solid understanding of core usability principles.
• Proven ability to communicate complex information and gain buy-in for innovative ideas.
• Experience working in an international multi-brand company with multiple stakeholders is advantageous.
• Proven people leader and able to develop and manage a digital team.
