Asaitec is a Spanish company located in Madrid created in 2013 that provides offshore Java services for European companies. Our goal is the development and maintenance of different services and applications.
We are looking for two DBA to join our database team who can work autonomously:
1 profile focused on Oracle
1 profile focused on MySQL/MariaDB and SQLServer
Your main tasks will be:
– Collaboration on daily support tasks such as backup, recovery, monitoring and performance.
– Problem resolution of production database issues.
– Implementing database updates.
– Contribution to the identification and implementation of technical application improvements.
– Migrations.
– SLA Lv1/Lv2
– Monitoring and performance (OEM, Grafana, Prometheus…)
– Ticketing.
The following skills are mandatory:
– Good communication skills in both Spanish and English (Minimum level required B2/C1)
– Minimum 3 years experience working with databases.
– Linux mainly and Windows Environment
– Installation, configuration and development in their latest versions.
– Oracle SQL and PL/SQL Development (for Oracle profile)
– Performance testing and improvement.
– MySQL/MariaDB Performance Tuning. (MySQLTuner, Tuning Primer Scrpt)
Desirable skills:
– Process Automation
– Ansible skills
– Sql and Linux Scripting
– Oracle RAC & RAC ONE NODE (RON) experience
– Dataguard Logical and Physical
– RCA and document step to solving incidents
– ASM DiskGroup
– Arquitecture knowledge
– ETL Experience.
– Strong database administration.
