Descripción: We are looking for an ICT (Computer Science or Telecommunications) engineer to join a multiskilled team specialized in R&D, innovation and consultancy projects in the field of transport. More precisely, the following activities are foreseen:
Improvement of efficiency in Port-Logistics processes and activities through digital technologies and ICT.
Innovation in new ICT trends for transport, logistics and ports: Industrial Internet of Things, Big Data and Business Intelligence, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain/DLT, Ports 4.0, cybersecurity, Cloud Computing & Container infrastructures (virtualization, docker, microservices, docker swarm, kubernetes, AWS, Azure, etc.) and mobile applications.
Development of proof of concepts, prototypes and pilots in research and innovation projects from different programmes (H2020, CEF, Interreg, National and regional programmes)
Development of IT and digital transformation consultancy projects in port communities.
3. SELECTION CRITERIA
Telecommunications or Computer Engineer (or equivalent). MS or PhD will be recognized.
5+ years of experience in ICT sector; experience in the field of logistics, transport and ports will be highly recognized.
Ability to develop, preferably with Javascript, Java and .NET. Knowledge in systems integration and IT security and experience in several of the above mentioned areas.
Fluent in English (Excellent speaking and writing skills).
Good communication skills, both oral and written.
Excellent teamwork skills.
Availability to travel.
4. CONDITIONS
Full time permanent employment contract.
