Descripción: As a DevOps Engineer, you have experience in working in an agile environment and have already worked as a business & technical consultant with business partners. As a key driver on BASF´s path of digitalization, you support existing products and initiative as well as innovate additional digital solutions that supports BASF´s global businesses.
Role specific activities
n this context you are end-to-end responsible for your cloud product (Azure, AWS or GCP). You provide the overall cloud architecture for customer environments, developing and considering security & network guidelines and identity&access management. You consult our internal business partners and support projects from an architectural point of view and how to apply existing guidelines within their projects. You implement BASF security standards as part of the architectural design of the BASF cloud environments, e.g. roles&rights, policies, security monitoring, logging, network. You continuously enhance our automation for provisioning of cloud environments and enabling the DevOps teams to manage their environments in an autonomous and efficient way. You are responsible for the implementation and further development of a framework for current and future services that are developed and operated in the cloud, considering aspects of network connectivity, isolated environments, portal access and central cloud services like logging, monitoring, backup, Internet access… You implement and maintain the cloud environment within BASFs IT service management processes in collaboration with other involved teams, applying automation to enable efficient process handling. Furthermore you collaborate closely with all involved parties and manage the various dependencies within the organization.
