HAYS IT is collaborating with the main company in the pharmaceutical sector, our client is in TOP 10 pharma worldwide. During the last 5 years they have established an IT Shared Services Centre in Sant Cugat, with a structure of more than 400 specialists.
To join the Platform Engineering team, we are looking for a AWS Solution Architect who will collaborate with Central Data Science and product teams on key use cases for development and operation of digital products.
Your responsibilities will include:
– Collaborate with Central Data Science and product teams on key use cases.
– Define, develop, deliver software architecture needed to implement and guide the product teams.
– Teaming up with product owners, data scientists, scrum masters, leads, backend and frontend engineers.
– You will work in an Agile environment and make AWS platform more accessible to the organization.
The ideal candidate:
– At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
– Demonstrable experience designing, documenting and deploying cloud architectures in AWS (Amazon Web Services)
– Ability to evaluate AWS cloud applications requirements and make architectural recommendations and documentation for implementation, deployment and provisioning
– At least 5 years of hands-on software development, Operations, DevOps engineering, or systems architecture
– In-depth working knowledge in a technology domain such as distributed web applications, DevOps, Serverless, Big Data, Analytics, Machine Learning, high-performance databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
– Good command of engineering practices such as code refactoring, design patterns, design driven development, CI/CD, building highly scalable application and APIs, and security
– Proficiency in English
– AWS certification (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional) or other industry certification
