Accounts payable team leader

We are looking for a positive, detail-oriented, self-starting professional with the ability to effectively navigate the vendor accounts payable world. candidate must be organized, solution-oriented, energetic, and able to make quick and sound decisions, strong analytic skills, attention to detail, and ability to grasp concepts quickly.

how your day-to-day will look like:

you will manage accounts payable (ap) processes within an international environment for an european region, assisting the accounts payable manager with the different teams and the processes determined.

you will lead team of accountants, coaching, motivating, training, setting goals and appraising performance

you will be involved in financial reporting process and successful execution of all monthly quarterly and annual deliverables.

you will act as the contact with other functional groups (purchasing teams, finance, logistics and vendors) to deal with accounting/operational issues to resolve invoice discrepancies.

you will implement, maintain and continue to improve upon current processes, internal controls, policies and infrastructure to scale with the business.

ad-hoc strategy and finance projects to support executive decision making.

recurring updates to local countries and ensure clear communication with all departments regarding ap policies and procedures (internal and external)

prepare accounts payable transactions

prepare weekly check run and meetings with the team

assist in preparing mec/qec/yec
