: PGA Catalunya is a resort that has 2 hotels: Hotel Camiral (LHW), LaVida hotel (boutique hotel); 2 golf fields and a luxury villas.
We are looking for a Banqueting Manager to join our award winning team at PGA Catalunya resort. This role will work closely with our conference and catering sales team to oversee and ensure delivery of all banquets,conference and corporate events to the LHW standards. This role is part of the hotel management team and will report to the F&B Director.
Key Responsibilities
– Overseeing the operational delivery of all conference and banqueting events in line with what was agreed with the client and their expectations
– Roster, train and mentor the banqueting team
– Coordinate with temporal agencies to get the right employees
– Demonstrates knowledge of all departments within the property
– Communicates group needs to various departments within the property
– Constantly looking for ways to improve on service delivery and opportunities to drive additional revenue
– Covering some duty manager shifts and assisting all department managers with the daily running of the hotels
– Supporting all departments during busy periods
– Ensure all staff carry out their duties and interact with all of our guests in a warm, friendly and courteous manner
– Ensure prompt resolution of customer complaints including follow up of such
– Responsible for ensuring the highest standards of Health and Safety for all banqueting and corporate events
