Descripción: Arelance is working on a recruitment process for an international client.
We are looking for an experienced engineer in the role of Kubernetes Engineer to join our client´s staff in Málaga. The tech stack currently contains Kubernetes, Helm, Flux, Keycloak, Harbor, Traefik, Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Ansible and git.
Our client is a company passionate about standard procedures and the use of features things like Infrastructure as Code, GitFlow for infrastructure and GitOps for release management.
This role will have the following responsibilities and tasks:
-Building, testing and implementing replicable Kubernetes clusters and related infrastructures.
-Operating, supporting and maintaining the clusters so they can meet the applicable Operational Level Agreements.
-Supporting and training different teams in order to the most out of the infrastructure provided.
-Translating wishes, requirements or annoyances from the users of the clusters into improvements to make the clusters even better.
-Learning and sharing knowledge about new developments around application delivery, containers, CI/CD which could be of use to the team or the companies.
Minimum requirements
– Experience installing and operating Kubernetes clusters running production workloads.
– Deep understanding of Docker and its internals.
– Development background, or high interest in development workflows, technologies, tools, mainly around CI/CD.
– Experience with Ansible and Vagrant, or similar tools to build reproducible infrastructures.
– Experience with some of the other tools in the technology stack, or tools that can be used for similar tasks.
-Knowledge of Linux.
-A good command of English.
-Enthusiastic individual with the ability to work independently, taking responsibilities and being proactive.
Comfortable as part of a team with people from different backgrounds, located in different countries, who have different ways of working.
