Marlex is collaborating alongside an important supplier of technological solutions for the travel sector to fill a Senior Analyst position.
You’ll be responsible for defining, building, delivering, and maintaining business applications in alignment with an important company. Your goal is to understand the requirements of internal customers and propose solutions that support those needs, while keeping the processes and tools as standard and integrated as possible.
This role is part of the Controlling and Capitalization Solutions team (CTC) within Human Capital and Finance Solutions department (HCF). The purpose is to automate processes and deliver solutions that will increase employee productivity, reduce costs, and increase the overall quality of the Finance department.
In this role, you’ll
1. Solution Identification
– Collect detailed business specifications with internal business partners (Controlling and Capitalization team)
– Propose system solution based on business requirements and implement them in SAP CO/COPA/IM/PS
2. Functional Design
– Document functional design based on the detailed impact and specifications collected from the business
– Analyze the detailed impact on existing processes and the usage of existing tools supporting these processes
3. Solution Construction
– Build technical requirements and solution construction via customizing or specific development
– Execute end-to-end functional/non-regression/performance tests
– Prepare user documentation and training materials to facilitate user understanding and adoption
4. Solution Delivery
– Deliver agreed solution on time
– Focus on agility throughout development cycle (functional requirements/specifications, technical specifications, coding, unit tests, functional tests, user acceptance tests)
5. Solution Maintenance and Support
– Perform the application functional support (customer/production) when requests are received from second-level support
– Propose enhancements to avoid failure and improve processes

Requirements:
About the ideal candidate
– University degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science
– At least 2-5 years of experience in a multinational company, preferably in an IT consultancy firm, leading multi-site activities and managing implementation of IT projects and/or SAP ERP solutions
– Knowledge of SAP ERP Finance modules implementation or other SAP ERP modules (such as UI5, Fiori) will be a plus
– Previous experience with SAP ERP and 4/Hana Finance – CO/COPA/IM/PS modules
– Knowledge of corporate support functions (Finance, Legal, HR…)
– Basic knowledge of system and relational database logic
– Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
– Proficient in English (both verbal and written); another language is a plus
– Strong project management and coordination skills
