Our client, an IoT solution builder for smart cities operations is looking for a Senior Python Developer to join its growing team.
Experienced international team of smart city and construction domain experts combined with a world-class product-engineering team. Their HQ are based in Barcelona (remote work is allowed), and have former managers from large first-tier IT companies.
You´ll be working with really exciting products and technologies, getting to know more about the Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, microservice architectures, DevOps culture and Big Data.

The Mission:
Development, definition and deployment of software solutions for our products, whilst ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from and to these products.
Requirements:
– 3+ years hands-on engineering, software development experience with Python
– Good experience with Linux environments
– Experience with Docker, kubernetes
– C/C++, Java, and JavaScript are a plus
– Deployment of applications on-premise and on cloud ( AWS, Google Cloud…) will be a plus
– Basic networking knowledge
– Good level of spoken and written English is a plus
– Previous experience leading development teams will be considered a plus
– Experience leading in-house and external developers remotely is a plus
– A good team player with excellent verbal and written skills along with a strong commercial focus
– A can-do, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude
– Passion for your work and a sense of humor
Responsibilities:
– Work directly with engineers, product managers, and other external partners to develop complex end-to-end systems.
– Work closely with other engineers to modify and enhance solutions using the company Tecnhologies products and APIs.
– Work closely with Solutions delivery team, to understand first-hand the needs of our clients and thus guarantee the success in deliveries
– As part of the above, you´ll be working with really exciting products and technologies, getting to know more about the Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, microservice architectures, DevOps culture and Big Data.
– Manage and maintain relationships with product owners, and other technical team members at clients and partners.
– Rigorous commitment to documentation, quality engineering, testing, and support.
