We are working with a German multinational company with an international presence and in full expansion. We are helping them to find a specialist with experience in SD-WAN, SASE and virtual routers.
Role description:
– Develop concepts for SD-WAN networking and be responsible for integration of SD-WAN technologies in existing IP networks.
– Develop concepts for SASE, trust, and security aspects of IP based networking in cloud environments.
– Develop concepts for virtual routers, running in private and public clouds, as well as on bare-metal scenarios, including the integration with existing IP networks.
– Work with suppliers for the deployment of SD- networking solutions focusing on the integration of SD-WAN, SASE, virtual Routers with orchestration systems in lab and production environments.
– Elaborate and assess technical solutions for SD-WAN, SASE, virtualized networks, according to the demand identified, and provide guidelines and recommendations for deployment, based on sharing of knowledge and best practises.
– Develop concepts for SD-WAN, SASE based networking based on IETF and MEF standards, build of lab prototypes and drive its implementation in projects.
– Design and implementation of IP networks, as well as management models for such networks.
– Development of scripts for automation of deployment scenarios for IP routers, SD-WAN, IPSec tunnels, international virtual backbones, and data center infrastructure.
Training and job experience:
– Large service provider (ISP, Telco or Consulting) experience.
– 10 years´ experience in designing IP networks based on large up equipment vendors for service providers.
– Experience in deploying SD-WAN, SASE solutions from suppliers, particularly with focus on integrating it in an existing landscape.
– Experience in use of public cloud infrastructure for the implementation of IP networks, based on virtual networking devices.
