Hays Services is collaborating with a global innovator and supplier of low-carbon and alternative-fuelled powertrains.We are looking for a OM Testing Lead who will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the software testing lifecycle. You will lead a team of testers, develop testing strategies and ensure that all software products meet the highest quality standards.
Functions:
– Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies that align with project goals and timelines.
– Define the scope and objectives of testing activities, ensuring all functional and non-functional requirements are covered.
– Identify testing tools and technologies to be used in the project and ensure their effective implementation.
– Lead and manage a team of testers, providing guidance, support and mentorship.
– Allocate resources and assign tasks to team members based on their skills and project requirements.
– Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
– Oversee the execution of test cases, ensuring thorough testing of software applications.
– Monitor and track testing progress, identifying any deviations from the plan and taking corrective actions as necessary.
– Ensure that defects are logged, tracked and resolved in a timely manner.
– Maintain detailed documentation of testing activities, including test plans, test cases and test results.
– Prepare and deliver regular status reports to project stakeholders, highlighting key findings and risks.
– Document lessons learned and contribute to the development of testing best practices.
– Work closely with business, IT and project management teams to understand requirements and ensure alignment.
– Engage with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and address any concerns.
– Facilitate communication between testing teams and other project teams to ensure seamless integration.
Requirenments:
– English is the program language (oral and written), Spanish is a plus.
– Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools and best practices.
– Experience with various testing types (functional, non-functional, regression, performance, etc.).
– Proficiency in using testing tools (e.g., JIRA) and test automation frameworks.
– Proven experience in leading and managing testing teams.
– Strong project management skills, including planning, execution and monitoring.
– Ability to mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
– Excellent analytical skills to identify issues and determine their root causes.
– Strong problemáticamente abilities to address and resolve testing-related challenges.
– Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
– Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
– Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
