On behalf of Ciklum Digital, Ciklum is looking for a Middle Python Developer to join the team on a full-time basis.
You will join a highly motivated team and will be working on a modern solution for our existing client. We are looking for technology experts who want to make an impact on new business by applying best practices and taking ownership.
Responsibilities:
– Back-end development to meet customer’s business needst
– Taking part in the decision-making process in application code design, solution development,
code review
– Develop and review feature design documents and provide inputs/update to specifications for the
solution
– Design and implement a set of various types of tests (unit, integration, functional, etc)
– Proactive position in solution development, processes improvements
– Working in an international distributed team in an Agile environment
– Communicate with PMs, engineers, Architects, QA and other colleagues and stakeholders
– Delivering the product roadmap and plannings
– To use high coding standards, software best practices and write highly testable, automatable and
performant code over the whole SDLC
Requirements:
– Experience in software development for more than 3 years
– Strong knowledge in Computing Theory:
1) Paradigm and Principles (OOP, SOLID)
2) Database theory (RDBMS)
3) Code testing practices
4) Algorithms
5) Data structures
6) Design Patterns
– Understanding of network interactions:
1) Protocols
2) Conventions (e.g. REST, RPC)
3) Authentication and authorization flows
4) Standards and practices (e.g. oAuth, JWT)
– Strong knowledge and experience in Python (more than 2 years)
– Excellent knowledge and experience in Python 2.7.X
– Practical commercial experience with:
1) REST API development
2) Web application frameworks (e.g. Flask, Falcon, Django, Web2py, aiohttp, Tornado) (more than 1 year)
3) Testing frameworks (e.g. e.g. pyTest, unittest)
4) ORM (e.g. SQLAlchemy) (more than 1 year)
5) RDBMS (e.g PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, MS SQL) (more than 1 year)
6) Web Servers
7) Version control systems (GIT)
8) Docker, Kubernetes
9) Continuous Integration tools (e.g. Gitlab Pipeline, Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo)
10) Builders
– Experience with:
1) Agile software processes and technologies
2) Code Review process
3) Refactoring process
– Upper-Intermediate English
