Descripción: Leading multinational company end client is looking for an IT Security Officer for their office in Madrid.
Security Officers are responsible for establishing and maintaining security platforms and solutions that mitigate IT risks across Group. Responsible for the identification, evaluation and reporting of information security risks in a manner that meets compliance and regulatory requirements, aligned with and supporting the risk posture.
As Security Officer you are required to be a visionary leader with strong skills in business management and a working knowledge of information security technologies. You will work bothly with IT and business units to implement practices that meet defined policies and standards for information security. The candidate continuously researches and stays on top of emerging security threats, technologies and trends.
Responsibilities
Collaborate, define, implement and maintain the Cyber Security strategy within Group.
Provide periodic monitoring and reporting on the current status of the IT security program to IT teams, business representatives and IT management.
Govern and facilitate the information security risk assessment process, including the reporting and oversight of treatment efforts to address Group findings.
Elaborate a metrics and reporting framework to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of security posture, promoting appropriate resource allocation and increasing the maturity level within the enterprise.
Ensure that IT services and solutions are in compliance with relevant laws, regulations and internal policies to minimize or eliminate risks and audit findings. Act as point of contact for external and internal audit missions.
Oversight of treatment efforts to address IT security, audit and/or regulatory findings.
Respond to significant security incidents and report to appropriate parties.
