Descripción: The role of this position is to administrate the security of the network infrastructure of all locations of DEUTZ AG company (Spain, Germany, USA, China, Italy,…). He / she shall be part of an international IT team, with Headquarters located in Cologne (Germany).
Job description
– Administration and monitoring of the existing firewall infrastructure
– Administration and monitoring of the Internet perimeter, Web Application Firewall, VPN
– Active participation in the automation of recurring tasks for landscape optimization using API´s
– Reliable 2nd level support and continuous system optimization
– Coordination towards manufacturer 3rd level support
– Ensuring trouble-free 24/7 operation and optimum availability of the security landscape
– Project work as well as creation and maintenance of system documentation
Required profile
– Successfully completed studies in the IT field or an apprenticeship in the same field with corresponding work experience
– Good knowledge (at least 3 years professional experience) in the administration of firewalls
– Knowledge of the manufacturers Fortinet, Pulse Secure. Proof by certification desirable, NSE4 or similar.
– You already have some knowledge of Web Application Firewalls (WAF)
– You understand encryption technologies, and have experience with PKIs
– IP Package-analysis with Wireshark is no foreign word for you
– You have fun with tricky troubleshooting missions and keep a cool head
– Basic knowledge in the area of Routing Switching
– Target-oriented, careful and independent working method
– Good written and spoken English, knowledge of German is an advantage
