FRS offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accountant who is looking for a demanding role within FRS business operations in the Strait of Gibraltar.
We are a looking for a motivated and energetic person with good interpersonal and problem-solving skills to work as IT Ops and cybersecurity infrastructure responsible in our offices in Tarifa (on site) with the IT Departments in Spain and Morocco. You will report to the local IT Director.

Your tasks will be:
• Be responsible to make sure all systems are updated and functioning
• Make sure Security patches are always in the latest recommended version
• Ensure network equipment and cabling are always well organized, easy to maintain and in good state
• Ensure daily backup jobs are functioning
• Ensure monitoring systems are up to date and well organized and that all sensors and devices are correctly placed
• Regular logs revision
• Evaluate systems and determine the need for upgrades
• Travel to vessels and other offices for what it may be needed in terms of IT
• Help to improve and develop the IT policies and procedures
• Report to IT Director
