Our client, global real estate company is looking for a IT Business Partner / Project Manager for its offices located in Barcelona.
Reporting to the Data and Insights Manager, the IT Business Partner / Project Manager will be the gatekeeper for the different systems in the Company, from an operational perspective. Works in collaboration with IT, consultants and developers to provide the users the best system experience. Logging, tracking and resolving user queries; this role is critical to ensuring the systems are an aid to productivity and keep our operation running smoothly. The role will also support in the maintenance and management of the database and User Acceptance Testing during development cycles. You will also manage the BI area (Power BI) that is already implemented.
Responsibilities: SAP / Webpage: Provides and co-ordinates delivery of first and second line support by responding to user requests and questions, researching and correcting systems problems, and following up with the end users to ensure satisfaction resolution of systems-related issues. Works in partnership with vendors to track, monitor and report to ensure resolution of issues is completed and closed within SLAs. Provides ad hoc reporting for commercial and operational areas of the business. Updates systems on leasing season (price updates, forms etc) Interrogates the systems databases and action updates where applicable. Manage any ad-hoc database changes, as requested and in line with standard procedures governing the database Supports the User Acceptance Test phase of any software improvements or upgrades; in particular, identifying and communicating changes that will affect or improve business use of the system, the development of test scripts and the performing of UAT. ERP Migration: Systems Knowledge and Change Management: Builds strong relationships with the user community. Champions the change management process, welcoming improvement suggestions but ensuring development roadmaps are understood and adhered to. Understands the role and connectivity of systems across the range of stakeholders, e.g. operations, sales, marketing and finance Provides expert knowledge from a systems perspective to the development of new or additional business processes Identifies themes and trends in systems utilisation to distinguish systems failures from user understanding and capability. Ensures system support ticket trends are fed into system development roadmaps. Develops a breadth and depth of understanding of the core operating systems and technologies. Retains expert knowledge of systems following minor or major changes. Works closely with wider systems team to ensure knowledge is always up to date. Contributes to the content of user training and education, to ensure user understanding is strong and minimises impact on the helpdesk. Project Management: Contributes to the identification, specification and implementation of new or upgraded systems to address changing business requirements with future growth including acquisitions. Organisational Responsibilities: Follows established policies and procedures by monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, organisational standards, and operational processes related to area(s) of responsibility and reporting violations or infractions to appropriate individual(s).
Qualifications: Educated to degree level (or equivalent) or by equivalent experience. IT literate and fully conversant with all Microsoft packages including Excel (Advanced level) BI Experiece Detailed knowledge of property management business systems. English fluent
