Responsibilities
– Requirements engineering and documentation
– Software architecture design

– 35% Java Development / 65% Implementation and monitoring of Talend Integration Platform
– Implement asynchrony and synchron connections
– Specify interface definitions
Requirements
– Java (incl. JMS, Swing, JavaDoc)
– HTML, Java-/TypeScript (incl. node.js), XML
– JSON, SOAP, REST, GraphQL
– SQL (database definition, CRUD operations)
– Versioning via Subversion, git, etc.
– Apache Tomcat, Apache Axis or similar (including setup)
– Application integration (synchronous, asynchronous)
– Knowledge about monitoring and developing custom interfaces
– Various connection types like
– Azure Blob Storage
– Web Service
– File connection
– ODBC
– sFTP
Profile
– Minimum 3 years full-time experience as Java developer
– Able to work with functional experts to understand, document, and align on requirements
– Able to work with team members around the world
– Able to write code that is performant, understandable, documented, maintainable
– Able to debug code, also from other developers
– Experience with development and setup of highly available (clustered) applications
– Strong curiosity to learn new topics (both technical and functional)
– Fluent English, written and spoken
– Experience with Integrations / Interface management
– Best case experience with Talend Studio
